A 35 year old Lewis Run man has been charged with drug possession. Troopers claim when they stopped Shane Easton’s 2005 Chevrolet on the Big Shanty Road in Lafayette Township Monday, they found a small amount of marijuana in the car.
State police at Lewis Run did not reveal details but report they are investigating an ID theft victimizing a 40 year old Eldred man Monday morning.

An ID theft in Ridgway Township is being investigated by state police there. A 60 year old Dagus Mines, PA man received an unemployment check Wednesday for which he had not applied.
Troopers at Mansfield are investigating yet another cyber theft. Someone fraudulently used a CB Indigo Card belonging to a 35 year old Newton, NC woman on Lambs Creek Road in Richmond Township last November 6 to make $223.34 in purchases.
Both Mansfield residents involved in a domestic violence incident have been charged by state police at Mansfield. Troopers responded to their home at 1175 Ritz Road in Sullivan Township early March 17 and found an argument had escalated to a point of becoming physical. 52 year old Kimberly Heffner was arrested for simple assault and taken to the Tioga County Prison. Joseph Sargeant, was cited for harassment in district court.

In addition to a fishing license, trout anglers 16 and older must possess a Trout Permit (or Combination Trout/Lake Erie Permit) to fish for trout.
The license must be kept about the person while fishing and shown upon the request of any waterways or other officer designated by the Commission. In addition to showing the license to the officer, the holder must upon demand, establish further identification to the satisfaction of the officer by producing some other positive means of identification.
Valid Dates – 2022 licenses and permits are valid December 1, 2021 through December 31, 2022 (except 1, 3 and 7-day licenses) and are available beginning Dec. 1, 2021 at issuing agents statewide and online through the secure e-commerce site at huntfish.pa.gov.
