Coudersport based state police have yet to release details about a tractor-trailer rollover Wednesday morning on the North Hollow Road in Allegany Township. Coudersport volunteer emergency services personnel responded to the scene and began to free the driver and control liquids coming from the rig. Medical helicopters were unable to fly due to weather conditions. The operator was extricated after several minutes and was taken to UPMC for treatment. A small portion of the North Hollow Road was closed to traffic for awhile and traffic was detoured on Long Road.
State police at Mansfield have just released details about a “non-reportable” collision happening last Friday. A Dodge Ram Pickup and a Dodge Dakota were going East on Route 6 in Charleston Township and the truck crossed the fog line, passing the car on the right side as it began to turn onto Yale Street. Both drivers escaped injury and both vehicles could be driven thus the fender bender was considered a “non-reportable” accident so names were not released.
Three sonar animal deterrent devices were stolen last weekend from a Knoxville home. The devices, valued at $100 were owned by 79 year old Vane Gunn. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at the Mansfield barracks.
